NOTE: You have to pass these courses before you can enroll this course.
You can only take this course after completing The Early Modern Philosophers course. In this course you will complete an independent project based on the information in The Early Modern Ancient Philosophers. You will need to create a video which presents the story of an early modern philosopher not featured in the series. The video does not need to have high production quality, but you should be confident of the information that you are presenting. You will find more information about the specific requirements on the assignment page.
Completing this assignment will give you a chance to truly test out your own philosophical arguments and, as an educator might say, attempt tasks higher up Bloom’s taxonomy, by creating, instead of just applying information. It should help you retain the content better, and expose your viewpoints to others.
I will feature top assignments in playlists on the Carneades.org YouTube channel, so if you are a philosopher that is just starting off and wants to build your audience, this is a great way to do it!
